RADIX offer a range of ground screw installation equipment from simple handheld turning bars to industry-leading electric turning machines and self-propelled hydraulic rotary crawler rigs. We also provide a range of test equipment to allow exploration and reporting of site-specific load-bearing capacities.
HYDRAULIC TEST FRAME 6T
Our manual test rig is a simple and effective way to evaluate site ground conditions and understand potential uplift force and load bearing capability. The tensile load is digitally recorded, and the results can be used to specify the appropriate ground screw for installation.
COMPRESSION CYLINDERS & TEST BEAMS
We offer a range of hydraulic pumps, gauges and cylinders to accompany our universal test beams. This system can be used to determine site specific compression values and load bearing capability. This process provides empirical data that is used to specify the correct diameter and depth of ground screw to achieve point compression loads.
Our electric turning machines are an excellent choice for the professional. Offering in excess of 4700 Nm of torque these portable units will install and extract screws from 76mm diameter up to 114mm diameter in appropriate ground conditions. Dual gearing and directional switching are key features offering dynamic control.
SELF PROPELLED CRAWLER RIGS
Available in a range of specifications these are suitable for larger size projects and installation of up to 200 ground screws per day. Full GPS positioning is available with mast tilt angles of up to 15 degrees in transverse and longitudinal direction for precise installation. Please contact us for further information.
